The Graduate Certificate in Management at Adelaide Institute of Higher Education provides an opportunity to develop advanced business knowledge and management skills built upon a foundation of strategic and critical thinking.
The qualification is designed for career-focused individuals seeking formal postgraduate business study that can support progression into team leader, supervisory and management roles.
The course combines one core subject with three electives, allowing students to tailor part of their study around areas such as people and organisations, accounting and finance, international economics, entrepreneurship, marketing, project management, corporate finance, law and human resources.

Build knowledge applicable to leadership, supervision and management environments.
Complete the qualification in one study period when undertaking full-time study.
Successful completion represents one quarter of the required study for the AIHE MBA.
On successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Management, students will have completed one quarter of the study required for AIHE's Master of Business Administration, providing a pathway to further postgraduate business study.
A focused four-subject postgraduate qualification available to domestic and international students in Adelaide and Melbourne.
The Graduate Certificate in Management has three commencement opportunities during 2026.

Study combines academic concepts with activities designed to develop analysis, communication and management capability.
Participate in seminars, lectures, group activities, case studies and practical support sessions.
Develop ideas through group activities, discussion, problem-solving and interaction with classmates.
Assessment may include group and individual assignments, examinations, tests, role plays, quizzes, presentations and participation.
Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning may be available to eligible students on application.
Completing the GCM represents one quarter of the study required for AIHE's MBA.
Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Management are well positioned to continue into the Master of Business Administration. The GCM contributes four subjects towards the sixteen-subject MBA structure.
